Why should your company provide complimentary Employee Shuttles?

Ladies and Gentlemen, bosses & CEOs

What makes Public Transportation so unbearable? Could it be the lack of comfort and space or the wait time & unfriendliness of government workers?

Let’s be honest for a second. When was the last time you boarded a public bus or public trains like Bart or Caltrain? Can you recall this experience being pleasant? San Francisco International Airport SFO has become a central hub for travelers worldwide, yet they face riding on Bart, which is notoriously known for its odor and delays.

I mean, if you’re a 16-year-old taking a trip to the city with your mates, then its not so bad of an option. But, how do corporate officials think that this is a good form of transportation, especially for their employees?

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, reports from 2013 & 2014 found that delays of up to 15 minutes have increased by 16 percent, well actually 13 percent when you consider the 8 ½ days of the Bart Strikes in 2013. Since then, delays have soared to 26 percent!

“We do have a lot more delays than we used to”- Paul Oversier, Barts assistant General Manager for operations.

However, for every problem comes a solution.

Airline Crew Transportation is no longer just an Airline Staff Transportation service, but also a corporate employee shuttle & bus service that provides transportation solutions for everyone in the Bay Area as well as San Francisco International Airport & San Jose’s Silicone Valley SJC.

Corporate employee shuttles & busses are taking the transportation industry head on. In addition to providing a green solution to the growing carbon footprint that many commuters are causing, these shuttles allow freeways such as 101 & 280 to free up. Companies such as Genentech & Google are providing their employees with free shuttles to assist their staff who typically have to endure a commute of up to 1 hour to get to work. These busses and shuttles commute on average 41 passengers, which means that’s 40 less vehicles on the road.

At Airline Crew Transportation, we have engaged our logistics team to help large corporations with shuttle & bus transportation solutions. These solutions provide many benefits that are not limited to decreasing the company’s carbon footprint, improving worker productivity by providing onboard high-speed WI-FI & limiting their employee’s stress levels which are sometimes caused by sitting in traffic. Corporate employee bus and shuttle solutions are the key to making your current staff happier but also prove to become a leveraging tool when recruiting. By providing your employees with a job that reduces their transportation costs (gas, toll, other vehicle costs), you reduce your company’s turn over rate.
